Dhwaja StambhamĀ also known as Kodimaram is a flagstaff that is commonly seen in the Hindu temples across South India It is normally seen in between the Gopuram and the Maha Mandapa (Main hall) of the temple.

In RVS, the sun light in the early mornings of March 21st to 23rd falls directly on it. Photo was taken a little late today and only the bottom portion is seen with sunlight.
