The first and foremost Peetham, the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham established by Aadhi Sankaracharya, at Sringeri has been adorned by an unbroken succession of 35 illustrious Gurus right from Sri Adi Shankaracharya’s direct disciple, Sri Sureshwaracharya.
